About Me

My highest aim is to love and enjoy God and invite others to do the same.

My whole life has been shaped by the providence and loving mercy of God. At a young age, I became friends with my Savior, Jesus, and learned of his gentle kindness for me. It wasn’t long before I considered the ministry of evangelism my biblical calling.

During my teen years, I volunteered through Child Evangelism Fellowship, teaching children the Gospel through songs, stories, and games.

After high school, I helped lead and teach multiple youth groups and bible studies as I took the duty of Bible study, exposition, and teaching seriously.

In 2023, I began work at Hope Presbyterian Church, Rogue River, as their Director of Ministry. Under the leadership of Pastor Brian Boisen, I taught regular Bible studies, preached monthly, and helped lead different church ministries. This period for me has been one of growth in maturity, wisdom, Bible familiarity, preaching skill, and ministry purpose.

The greatness of God revealed in His Word compels me to seek ways to communicate about Him through which He can humble the spirit, grow affections for God, guide the will, give true wisdom, increase spiritual knowledge, promote the virtues of Jesus, and melt the heart with love.

I have learned that believers need to grow in their knowledge of Jesus, the revelation of God, as they face a difficult and dynamic world around them and seek to love well, as do unbelievers. There is no better companion in this life and the next than Jesus Christ.

Our Story

Faith and I met in 2023 and began dating in 2024. We discovered we had similar backgrounds: I was a missionary kid and moved a lot growing up, spending time as a child in various parts of North and South America. She was a pastor’s kid and also had several significant moves as her family served in culturally distinct parts of the United States.

We soon learned our differences were as complementary as our similarities were parallel.

Her energy and spontaneity were welcome counterbalances to my rigid and careful approach to life. My structure and drive acted as ballast for her.

In June of 2025, we were married.

Faith graduated from cosmetology school in April of 2026 and looks forward to a break from schooling as she assumes the full-time job known as mothering. We look forward to sharing our home and love with our daughter Hadassah.

After Education

After graduating with an M.Div, I expect to serve Christ’s Church by helping teach and lead. I expect to see myself filling the role of pastor when the time is right.

I hope to serve in the Rogue Valley, where our friends and family currently call home, but I submit to the mystery of where God will lead me.

I want to see multiple generations worship and serve God together. I aim to preach, teach, and lead in such a way that Christians are edified and those outside the church are welcomed in by love, integrity, and the relevance of God’s Word to their lives.
